Returns And Exchanges

In effort to ease the dreaded process of returns and exchanges, we've now launched a return/exchange portal to help simplify things for you.

(In instances where you have received an incorrect or damaged item, please reach out to us directly at hello@gardenheir.com and we'll work to get things right for you as soon as possible. We're unable to handle these issues through the return/exchange portal at this time.)

RETURNS

Full price items purchased at Gardenheir and are postmarked within 14 days of the arrival date are eligible for return or exchange.

Returns are submitted through our return/exchange portal. A return label will be provided and its cost will be deducted from the refund.

*Flat Return Fee is generally $10 East Coast, $12 West Coast, $20 Hawaii/Alaska.
Large/Heavy items will incur additional expense that is consistent with the increased cost of return shipping. This oversize fee isn't waived even when choosing Store Credit or Exchange.

We also welcome In-Store Returns at our Windham, NY location. Please have your order # or invoice with you. Otherwise, we can’t ensure that your return can be processed.

EXCHANGES WITH COMPLIMENTARY SHIPPING

Domestic exchanges are now possible, initiated through our return/exchange portal. You will be responsible for the flat-fee return label for the item(s) you send back, but your new exchange order is shipped to you free of charge! 

We handle exchanges as an "Instant Exchange", where a new exchange order is placed immediately and will require you to enter your credit card information as if making a new purchase. This helps you get your item quickly (not having to wait for your return to process) and ensures that your items are in stock.

To place an instant exchange, we will put a temporary hold on your credit card until we receive your unwanted items. You’ll only be charged for the amount covered by your returned items if your return isn’t in the mail within 14 days of submitting your request and receiving your return label.

In the event of an exchange, your available credit will reflect the adjusted price based on the value of the discount code that was applied to your original order. As discount codes are one-time use, they are not transferable in exchanges.

Complimentary shipping on exchanges applies to one exchange to the original order.

STORE CREDIT WITH COMPLIMENTARY RETURN LABEL

Opt for store credit and your return label is provided free of charge! Store credit will be issued as a digital gift card via email once your return is delivered and processed. Please use our return/exchange portal to initiate a store credit refund.

EXCLUSIONS

Please note, not all returns will be eligible based on the following information.

Items that are final sale and cannot be returned: all merchandise listed as sale or final sale, as well apothecary goods, antique and vintage pieces. Additionally, any items that have evidence of being worn, washed or otherwise used are ineligible.

Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn/unused, unaltered, with all tags attached. Please note that items will unfortunately be refused if there are signs of use, washing, pet hair, makeup or other soiling.

Footwear returns are limited to unworn items and must include the original shoebox if applicable. If there are scuffs/markings on the insole or bottom sole, unfortunately we will not be able to accept them back.

Please double check your items before proceeding to send them back to ensure they qualify for refund. Otherwise, they may be refused and will be shipped back to you with additional shipping costs involved. Thank you!

REFUNDS

Once your return has been received, you will be refunded the full amount of the items returned, excluding any shipping costs. Your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment. Please allow approximately 3-5 days after the date of processing. It may take additional days to clear, depending on your credit card/payment provider.

Note: If returned items were purchased using a promotional code, the discount value will be subtracted from the return/exchange credit.

 INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Our returns/exchange portal only supports domestic returns at this time (though we’re working on this!). If you are an international customer, please email hello@gardenheir.com to submit your return request. Please include your order # with your message.
